Dong Zhuo Wins Over Lü Bu董卓收呂布
Remember the many kind words you have heard,
yet you mistook a thief for your own son.
Do not crave a little sweetness now;
think of how it will look in years to come.

Dong Zhuo Wins Over Lü Bu
Dong Zhuo won over the warrior Lü Bu with gold and the famous horse Red Hare, and Lü Bu killed his own adoptive father to join him. The bond was bought, not earned. A minister later set them against each other over the beauty Diaochan, and Lü Bu killed Dong Zhuo as well.
