King Wen Consults the Oracle
King Wen knew a summons to the Shang court would end in years of captivity. He went, but ordered his eldest son to stay home. The son disobeyed, rode to rescue him and was killed. In captivity King Wen worked out the sixty-four hexagrams.
Look among neighbours and old acquaintances rather than strangers.
Deepen your current role. Avoid changing jobs.
This lot invites care with money: old clients and familiar channels earn best. New ventures are not favoured. Treat money moves as personal judgement, not a prediction.
An old complaint may return. Rest and avoid long journeys. This is reflection, not a diagnosis.
Ordinary days. No need to move or renovate.
Late. Stay home if you can; long journeys tire you now.
Probably lost. Replace it and move on.
This lot invites patience with disputes: even with right on your side, the timing is poor. Dragging it out does not help. For binding disputes, a qualified adviser is wiser than any oracle.
